International Student Orientation at Holmesglen

Orientation is your first step in setting you up for a strong and successful semester ahead, and it’s important all students who have received their visa attend.

Arriving later than expected? 

Whilst all students are required to attend orientation, we understand there are some circumstances that may prevent a student from arriving on time. For this reason, we will provide additional orientation sessions for late arriving students. 

If you arrive after the VET orientation sessions (Certificates, Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas), please attend the Higher Ed orientation sessions. Details of those sessions can be found on our website. 

If you arrive after the Higher Ed orientation sessions, you can attend one of our catch up orientation sessions. Details of those sessions can be found here:

Explore Melbourne

In the weeks following your orientation session, Holmesglen is also offering our international students a tour of Melbourne. On this tour, you will experience the culture and discover the history of Melbourne, from it’s indigenous beginnings to the city it is today. Find out more about the tour and how to register here. 

Campus Welcome Festivals 

Don’t forget orientation finishes with our campus welcome festivals. These events are a great opportunity to learn about the various student services, pack your bags with free items and meet the rest of the student community.
