Gratitude

Gratitude is a thankful appreciation for what we have received. As we acknowledge the goodness in our lives. Gratitude also helps us connect to something larger than ourselves as individuals — whether connect to other people, nature, or motivation.

 

Challenge of today: What are you grateful for ? 

 

Keep a gratitude journal. Make it a habit to write down or share with a loved one thoughts about the gifts you've received each day. Here are some writing tips. 

 

  • List five small ways that you can share your gratitude today.
  • Write about a person in your life that you’re especially grateful for and why.
  • What skills or abilities are you thankful to have?
  • What is there about a challenge you’re experiencing right now that you can be thankful for?
  • How is where you are in life today different than a year ago–and what positive changes are you thankful for?
