Holmesglen Personal Counselling Service

As a part of our Student Wellbeing Team, each campus has qualified counsellors who provide free and confidential counselling available to all students in a safe and non-judgemental environment. Holmesglen recognises that lots of different situations can occur while you are studying which is why we offer a counselling service from 9-5pm (Please note that due to COVID-19 we are offering telephone & webex service only).

The Counselling team is able to help students with a variety of issues including:

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Relationship issues
  • LGBTQIA+ support
  • Grief & loss
  • Study Skills & Time Management
  • Welfare issues
  • Scholarship application assistance
  • Special Consideration and Deferred Assessment application assistance
  • Drug and alcohol problems
  • Anger Management
  • Gambling problems
  • Migrant issues
  • Work/Life Balance
  • Cultural adjustment

The first step and sometimes the most difficult, is asking for help! We are here to help you make the most of your time and experience while you are studying at Holmesglen!
