Fire Management Labourer
Salary/Benefits: $26 per hour
Hours: Full time
Location: Mornington Shire, VIC
Position Description of Vacancy:
- Seeking Fire Management Labourers for the Mornington Shire Council team.
- Dedicated to the safety and management of bushland across the area.
- Seeking candidates with experience in wildfire management, natural resource and horticultural management.
- Help make a difference to the community in an important role.
- Also willing to train people new to the industry and develop careers.
- Duties include delivering fire management works across Mornington.
- Ensure works are carried out with minimal environmental disturbance.
- Assist the Parks and Roadside Team where required.
- Grow skills in fire/fuel management.
- Experience in Holistic Bushland Management and Environmental Management desired.
- Must have Chainsaw Certificate
- Must have MR/HR License
- Must have Chemical Users Certificate.
