We have a name for Glen Waverley Library's new resident plant. Say hello to Nyx.
Thank you to all who submitted a name suggestion.
Nyx is browsing the shelves for information to help them stay healthy and grow big and strong :) You can also browse the shelves for relevant books just like Nyx.
Happy Lunar New Year from the Library! 2021 is the Year of the Ox.
Here is a fact about people born in the Year of the Ox - "Oxen are the hard workers in the background, intelligent and reliable, but never demanding praise." (https://chinesenewyear.net/zodiac/ox/)
Now that we are out of lockdown, how you plan to celebrate Lunar New Year? Let us know in the comments below!
The Library group now has over 100 members, which gives us two reasons to celebrate!
Hello to all lovely Holmesglen people! Glen Waverley Library needs your help!
As you know, Glen Waverley Library is the proud host to three plants: George II, Zala, and Spike. But a new plant has joined the trio, a very beautiful succulent, and we need a name for her! Please leave us suggestions in the comments, she can't remain The Beautiful Anonymous Succulent for ever.
Here she is posing among the rosebushes:
The Library is open from Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm.
Come in and say Hi if you are on campus!
