Identifying Literacy, Language and Numeracy Support

Holmesglen requires all local and international students to undertake a literacy, language and numeracy review (BSKB) before classes begin. Our Learning Skills Centre (LSC) team can assist students who may need literacy, language or numeracy assistance during their studies. Results from this review are provided to LSC so they can connect with you if needed. You can read more about our Learning Skills Centre team here.

For international learners, it’s important to note this is NOT an assessment to determine entry into the course – you have already been accepted to Holmesglen based on your IELTS results. 

This is an online assessment you can complete prior to orientation. We recommend you find a quiet space with reliable internet to undertake this review. We recommend you complete this in one sitting however if you do need to take a break , you can save and come back.
