A unique career opportunity exists for the following two roles, Print Finisher and Printer as an apprentice.
Job Role 1 (Print Finisher Apprentice)
We are currently seeking to employ an Apprentice in a Print Finishing role to undertake the following key tasks including:
• Working with various specialised binding and finishing machines including guillotines, saddle stitchers, folders, and collators
• Perform basic maintenance tasks
• Work closely with internal staff
• Understanding customer and order requirements.
The position will suit the ‘mechanically minded’ individual – you will be very ‘hands on’, and display a strong mechanical aptitude.

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to demonstrate mechanical skills and reasoning
• Genuine interest in operating specialised and computer-controlled print binding machinery and related equipment
Job Role 2 (Print Apprentice)
We are currently seeking to employ an Apprentice in a Printers role to undertake the following key tasks including:
Primary responsibility will be to operate a SM52-2 colour and to operate a Konica Digital Machine. Some finishing work will also be required of you from time to time.
Duties to include:
• Operation of our 2 SM 52 and Digital Konica Minolta
• Clean and maintain all equipment and work area
• Produce high quality print
• Minimise waste of materials
• Meet daily production targets
• Guillotine operation if needed
• Other duties and finishing operations as required
