Holi, what a beautiful celebration of colours, love and the triumph of good over evil.
The Holmesglen Recreation Team conducted a Holi Festival of their own at the Chadstone Campus on Thursday 22 March.
The event gave students the opportunity to engage in some cultural dancing while listening to the wonderful music played by Indian DJ Cliff.
Students were able to throw some bright colours over blank canvas’ and create a colourful collage of the celebration, the pinnacle of the day.
To top off the festival, on offer was a delicious Chickpea Curry, free to all Holmesglen students which did not disappoint.
The students thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the festival with the vibrancy of the colours created a lot of positivity, which the Recreation Team hopes all students can continue that through their studies and lives.
