Preparation is the key!

In learning a task that requires tools and equipment preparation is the key.

Knowing how to use the tools and equipment correctly I.E. as the manufacturer designed them, will place you in a safer position from the start.

Having tools and equipment in a reliable state and also correctly setup, make the task so much easier to do.

Knowing when the tools are sharp and or blunt, ensures we get the best life out of both the tool and it associated blade or blades.

By using the correct holding device for the material you are about to work, will maintain your safety especially your hands.

Knowing your material characteristic, your about to work. Will assist you to choose your tools and equipment best suited for that material.

Whether you are starting out as a first time user or you are a regular user of tools and equipment, if you check the above before you start (Preparation) you greatly improve your chances of a quality job and a safer outcome.
