Reduce Stress and Prepare For Exams
The exam preparation period can be a stressful time for many students. Here are some helpful tips below to help you manage your stress and prepare:
Take the time to plan
- Create a study plan and goals
- Consider your work schedule as you may need to reduce shifts
- Create a comfortable study space that won’t distract you
Look after yourself
- Ensure self-care; do something you enjoy to take a break
- Stay hydrated and eat well
- Do some exercise daily
- Remember to also rest!
Stay focused
Ask for help
- Ask your teachers or Holmesglen Learning Skills Centre for extra academic assistance
- Form a study group
Be prepared
- Practice and revision
