Reduce Stress and Prepare For Exams

The exam preparation period can be a stressful time for many students. Here are some helpful tips below to help you manage your stress and prepare:

Take the time to plan

  • Create a study plan and goals
  • Consider your work schedule as you may need to reduce shifts
  • Create a comfortable study space that won’t distract you

Look after yourself

  • Ensure self-care; do something you enjoy to take a break
  • Stay hydrated and eat well
  • Do some exercise daily
  • Remember to also rest!

Stay focused

Ask for help

  • Ask your teachers or Holmesglen Learning Skills Centre for extra academic assistance
  • Form a study group

Be prepared

  • Practice and revision
