Workshop 4: Unconventional Careers
About the Workshop:
If you don’t want to be a butcher, a baker or a candlestick maker, how do you develop your skills and work experience to best position yourself for the future? If you’re a creative, how do you find work? If you have skills and interests that aren’t the norm, how do you create a career for yourself?
The rate of change in the job market is such that new jobs and positions that will be the norm in 2030 haven’t yet been invented. But rather than wait and see, take the initiative to make bold moves towards writing your own job description and designing your own unconventional career.
Join business coach Brook McCarthy to explore the possibilities for yourself.
This workshop is valued at $650.00, but is available for $10 per session to current Holmesglen students.

- How to pitch yourself, naturally and authentically, to write your own job description

- You can join this event virtually from your laptop or computer, or
- Join the Recreation Team where we will be streaming the workshop from the Holmesglen Chadstone Campus Library. Snacks will be provided. You will need to select the Chadstone Campus ticket when registering.
