INTERCULTURAL HIGH TEA BOOK CLUB MEETING
Monash Interfaith Gathering (MIG Inc) has been conducting a very successful online Intercultural High Tea Bookclub every three weeks over the past year. It was formed to encourage a sense of community connectedness, to develop friendships among folks from different cultural backgrounds, and of course, to encourage a love of reading.
This coming Friday 15th October from 10.30-12 we’re inviting the wider community to join us for a special event. We’ve invited a well known author, Alice Pung to give a talk. We will also share discussion on a couple of books, an international recipe and focus on a social issue. A member will share her life history and cultural background - these are always fascinating.
