Yesterday, we had a fantastic afternoon with alumni and past teachers joining current staff and industry partners to celebrate 10 years since the Bachelor of Nursing was introduced at Holmesglen.

Alumna Kate Marsh (BN2012) spoke on behalf of alumni: 'I remember walking into the old lecture theatre and being greeted by Sue Brown, she told us straight up ... that nursing wasn't for the fainthearted - and it involved a lot more than caring for people!'

Kate's speech was full of wonderful insights into the early years of the Nursing degree. She added: 'With passionate and accomplished teachers, we found ourselves gaining great knowledge and insight very quickly. Our placement feedback became excellent and people began to recognise us in our teal and grey shirts as Holmesglen nurses.'

Congratulations to staff, students and graduates, and industry partners and supporters who have worked so successfully to make Nursing such a flagship at Holmesglen. Here's to the next 10 years - and beyond!
