Does your course require you to remember large chunks of information?

Having trouble remembering?

Try some creative memorisation techniques.

LIke mnemonics:

What's that?

A song, rhyme, acronym, image or phrase to remember a list of facts in a certain order.

You probably remember this from primary school. What are the colours of the rainbow?

ROYgBIV or Richard of York Gave Battle in Vain

i.e. red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet.

Or try this one:

A commonly used route for catheterisation is the femoral vein, found within the femoral triangle. The contents of the femoral triangle, from lateral to medial are:

NAVEL

N: femoral Nerve

A: femoral Artery

V: femoral Vein

E: Empty space

L: Lymphatic vessel
