Prabath Chaminda

Prabath has just completed his first semester of the MSF40213 Cert IV in Furniture Design and Technology and made a beautiful table for his project.

What was the inspiration behind your design?

I just imagined shape of surfing board. It’s Tasmanian Myrtle (hard wood). 

What did you enjoy about this course at Holmesglen?

It’s helped me discover my internal skills and developed my creativity.

What advice do you have for someone considering a course in furniture design?

Be creative and make use of materials and shapes around you when coming up with your designs.
