Trade Assistants, Welders, Assembly Process Operators & Fabricators
Salary/Benefits: $30 - $35 per hour + Super + overtime if required
Hours: Full time
Location: Dandenong South, VIC
Position Description of Vacancy:
- Must have a willingness to learn.
- On the job training offered
- Designing, manufacturing and supplying "made to order" steel and aluminium trays under 'TopDek' brand.
- Immediate opportunities for Assemblers and/or Welders to join both teams in the aluminium assembly and steel fabrication areas.
- Whilst experience would be beneficial, being hardworking, reliable and able to operate in a team will be valued - Junior applicants welcome.
- Responsibilities include:
- Aluminium areas includes assembly work, small hand tools, drilling, fixing.
- Steel area requires sanding, grinding, use of saw and some experience welding is advantageous.
- General factory duties as required and assisting in other areas in busy times.
- A Forklift License is an advantage but not mandatory for these roles.
- Staff safety is a high priority and all applicants will be expected to follow OHS Guidelines and Company policies and wear PPE.
- Uniforms are provided after a qualifying period.
