Hours: Casual, minimum of 24 hours per week

Position Description of Vacancy:
- Family owned and run fine-food store, with a reputation as one of Melbourne's leading fine food purveyors.
- Seeking an Assistant Chef with a passion for Italian food to join the small kitchen team at Kew location.
- Required to work a minimum of 24 hours per week depending on availability.
- This is a casual role, but for the right candidate a permanent part-time/full-time position can be negotiated.
- Hours of shifts are 7am-4pm Monday to Friday and 6am-2pm on Saturday.
- Duties include preparing and cooking a wide range of Italian inspired food including, but not limited to lasagne, braises, soups, meatballs, sandwiches, salads and pizzas.
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in food preparation required.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills required.
- Must have the ability to work as part of a small team.
- Must have the ability to follow recipes.
- Must have a love of cooking Italian food.
