Kitchen Assistant (Cook)
Salary/Benefits: $24.91 to $28.92 per hour, plus Super and benefits.
Hours: 2 days per week (16 hours) on Mondays and Thursdays from 8am to 4.30pm (working days and hours are negotiable).
Location: Carlton North, VIC
Position Description of Vacancy:
- Well-regarded not for profit organisation providing long day care and kindergarten services.
- Working autonomously supporting day-to-day operations of the kitchen, planning the menu and meal preparation ensuring dietary requirements are being met and allergies are managed.
- Previous experience working in a busy commercial kitchen catering for large groups of people, with demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Nationally recognised qualification in Cooking desirable.
- Must have current Food Handling Certificate and a working knowledge of the Victorian Food Act 1984.
