Junior Structural Steel Shop Detailer / Draftsperson
Salary/Benefits: $49,500 including Super
Hours: Full time
Location: Caulfield North, VIC
Position Description of Vacancy:
- Must have Building Design (Architectural) qualification or similar.
- Must be able to use AutoCad.
- Must have Police and reference checks.
- Structural and civil engineering company which also provides structural steel shop detailing services.
- Fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in Detailing/Drafting, with opportunities to work on many prestigious projects such as major retail developments and large industrial projects.
- Responsible for producing 2D shop drawings using CAD software.
- Document control of incoming and outgoing documentations.
- General drafting office duties (e.g. plotting, printing, scanning etc).
- The ideal candidate will have recently graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural) or similar, and have a strong desire to learn and build a career.
- Important personal attributes include great communication and organisational skills.
- Attention to detail
- Interest in the building and construction industry.
