Junior Draftsperson
Salary/Benefits: Above Market Remuneration Rate
Hours: Full time
Location: Melbourne CBD
Position Description of Vacancy:
- Experience in Autocad required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills to coordinate with engineers, sub-contractors and clients.
- Experience working in an operational term environment.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications.

- A keen eye for detail, the ability to work autonomously if required.
- Complete work to a high standard and comply with all relevant standards and QA procedures.
- Manage time effectively to balance deadlines, work quality and team cohesion.
- Undertake internal and external training to maintain continuous professional development.
- Have aspirations for growth within JHA Consulting Engineers.
- Keenness to contribute to a growing and evolving office.
- Developing coordinated building services drawing through Autocad.
- Import/link models from such formats as RVT, DWG, IFC and DWF.
- Prepare and export the design model as either RTV or NWC.
- Upload drawings and design models into web based document control websites/|
- Prepare and organise documentation according to the JHA drafting standards.
- Set up new projects for the use of all relevant disciplines internally.
- Drafting administration duties such as scanning, printing, filing.
- Begin to be able to communicate possible design opportunities or risks where applicable to the relevant engineer.
