IKEA Co-Woker (multiple positions)

 

Salary/Benefits: $24.93 plus penalties for evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Hours: Part time

Location: Richmond / Springvale

 

Position Description of Vacancy:

- Mix of temporary and permanent part-time roles ranging from 24, 30, 40, 50 and 60 hours per fortnight. 
- Ideal candidates will have a strong customer focus, are confident in approaching people and are driven by finding the best solutions for their needs. 
- Enthusiasm when working in a team and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. 
- Required to work a mix of day and evening shifts as well as have availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends, both Saturday and Sunday.
- For Logistics roles, you must be available to work evening and overnight hours. 
- Looking for co-workers in the following areas:

  • IKEA Food - Enthusiastic, passionate about food and retail, love connecting connecting with others. Responsible for cash handling, customer service, maintaining the restaurant and/or Swedish Food Market, or preparing and serving meals (majority of positions are in IKEA Foods). 
  • Sales - Combine your positive attitude and exceptional customer service to provide exceptional customer service as well as product advice and memorable in-store experiences to customers. 
  • Logistics - Select, pack and dispatch orders. Work in a fast paced environment, ensuring high standards of selection and presentation are met to delight customers when their purchases arrive for collection via Click & Collect. You may also help restock shelves to ensure that customers can find stock. 
  • Customer Service - The friendly face of IKEA, you may be greeting customers at the store entry, helping customers with returns or home delivery, or servicing customers at checkout. 

- All roles are physically demanding, requiring manual handling and employees will be on their feet all day. 
- Require adequate availability, without holidays booked during the peak trading period (October 2022 to February 2023).
