Salary/Benefits: Depending on skills / experience

Hours: 30.4 - 38 hours per week

Location: Caulfield South, VIC

 

Position Description of Vacancy:

- Must have Certificate III in Business or Bachelor of Business (completed or nearly completed).
- Irregular travel between campuses within 5km distance. 
- On the job training provided
- Working with Children's Check and Police Check required.
- Primary responsibilities will involve management and processing of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Month end journals and preparation of general ledger reconciliations.
- Preparation and processing of the end-to-end fortnightly payroll, including STP and management of payroll related queries.
- Maintain all areas of Accounts for the school including bank account and credit card reconciliation and capturing appropriate support.
- Reception support when required. 
- Must be proficient in the use of financial software as well as MS applications. 
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage time and prioritise workload. 
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work with the ability to pivot when required. 
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem solve. 
- Very good communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to observe confidentiality.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with a wide range of people.
- Experience with School Edge and Pay3k desirable. 
- A relevant qualification with experience or studying towards a qualification. 
- Experience in a school environment would be an advantage but not essential.
