Volunteer Position
Hours: 1 hour (flexible), weekly or fortnightly on weekdays.
Location: Canterbury
Position Description of Vacancy:
- Must undergo Police Check (Completed by BASScare).
- Must have proof of three COVID-19 Vaccinations.
- Flu vaccination is highly recommended.
- Full induction included as well as ongoing support provided by BASScare staff.
- Make a difference in your local community providing social support and accompanying residents on walks.
- Opportunities on weekdays to visit either mid-morning or afternoon to spend an hour with residents one on one.
- Seeking people with empathy, understanding and patience.
- Ability to push a wheelchair is required.
- Some experience with aged care would be beneficial.
