Salary/Benefits: $25 - $35 per hour
Hours: Full Time
Location: Cheltenham
Position Description of Vacancy:
- Specialise in custom design and fabrication of architectural lighting, furniture, signage, art instillations and other varied and interesting projects.
- Seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and skilled Maker.
- Knowledge in a wide range of fabrication, specialising in high quality TIG welding of brass, stainless steel and aluminium.
- The ability to machine using a lathe, mill and CNC router would also be a huge benefit.
- Must be confident with fabrication.
- Ability to grind and polish welded joints.
- Reading and understanding design drawings.
- Neat, tidy and very organised.
- Jig design and fabrication
- A good understanding of various manufacturing methods.
- Full Driver's License
- The ability to have fun and work hard.
- Timber work and machining highly regarded.
- Experience with SolidWorks and/or Fusion 360 highly regarded.
