Position Description of Vacancy:
- Seeking a career minded hospitality professional looking for a long-term management role with guaranteed career progression.
- Venue has a kitchen, two bars, expansive beer garden and a small dining and functions space, catering for a diverse customer base.
- Seeking someone with management experience in a similar sized venue, who can contribute to the growth and development of the venue.
- Management team and owners will work alongside the successful candidate to enable them to progress to the role of Venue Manager is 18 months time.
- Responsibilities include supervising venue operations, including opening and closing the venue, running shifts, coordinating functions and bookings.
- Stock control, ordering, stocktake, menu building, supplier relationships and costing.
- Managing financial controls and operating costs.
- Managing staff, recruitment and rostering.
