Salary/Benefits: Per Award, variable based on age and experience.

Hours: 36 hours, 3x10 hour shifts per week.

Location: Mount Waverley

 

Position Description of Vacancy:

- Entry level position (Year 11 or equivalent required). 
- Seeking an individual with an interest in the printing industry, a commitment to safety and the ability to work as part of a team. 
- The Apprentice will commit to undertake a four-year apprenticeship/Certificate III in Printing (ICP31220)
- Will be trained on the job as you to set up and operate printing equipment.
- A mix of on the job and theoretical training resulting in a nationally recognised Trade Certificate. 
- Ongoing coaching, mentoring and support. 
- Work on modern state of the art printing machinery. 
- Routine maintenance of printing equipment. 
- Must have the ability to multitask.
- An eye for detail
- Ability to problem solve
- A willingness to learn
- An interest in the Print Industry.
- Sound communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Able to work as a key member of the team.
