Apprentice Print Finisher

Salary/Benefits: Per Award, variable based on age and experience.
Hours: 38 hours per week
Location: Mount Waverley
Position Description of Vacancy:
- Seeking a motivated individual who has an interest in the Printing Industry, a commitment to safety and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Trained on the job to set up and operate finishing equipment.
- The Apprentice will commit to undertake a four-year Apprenticeship/Certificate III in Print Binding, Finishing and Packaging (ICP31320).
- A mix of on the job and theoretical training resulting in a nationally recognised Trade Certificate.
- Ongoing coaching, mentoring and support.
- Work on modern state of finishing and packaging equipment.
- Routine maintenance of finishing equipment.
- Must have the ability to multitask.
- An eye for detail
- Ability to problem solve
- A willingness to learn
- An interest in the Print Industry.
- Sound communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Able to work as a key member of the team.
